[Tutorial] Downgrading all OFW & then upgrading to CFW

Hi,during my psp downgrading time i was very confused and sometimes worried about bricking my psp,so my desire was to make a noob proof guide on how to do this. First i will run through what you will need.Then i will got through how to make a magic memory stick .finally about hard modding your battery which i will use a link from another site as i have already done this.

What you will need

1)A psp with Official firmware [for downgrading]
2)Two psp Batteries one can be used if one wishes
3)Total newbie installer [link included]
4)Winrar


How to make a magic memory stick

First of all you will need this which contains all the files need

When you download the file Extract it and open it ONLY PRESS THE START BUTTON AND FOLLOW WHAT IT SAYS.This is very easy to follow if you cant follow this well....Now you have a magic memory stick just place it to one side.now we will hard-mod your battery.

Now pop the memory card in and the battery in and DONT FORGET TO BACKUP YOUR NAND and then downgrade it will downgrade you back to 1.5


Now to install custom firmware

NEVER SHUT YOUR PSP OFF DURING AN UPDATE. If you must leave during the custom firmware installation, when you return, click the brightness key on the psp. This will then activate the screen so you can tell if it has finished or is still working.

THE 3.52M33-4 UPDATE IS NOT NECESSARY, HOWEVER IT IS REQUIRED IF YOU PLAN ON INSTALLING 3.71M33
BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE UPDATE, CLEAR THE CACHE AND COOKIES ON BOTH YOUR PSP AND PC.There was an issue with a ps3news.com and Team M33. The owner of ps3news.com basically stole the source code for the M33 Custom firmware, he modified it, released it to the public knowing it was a bricker. M33 protected themselves by coding the -4 update to not install on PSPs that had ps3news.com in their cookies or cache. Buy not installing, it would corrupt the internal memory on the psp, causing it to brick. I recommend clearing everything if you've been to this site or not

Getting started
You will need the following:

* A PSP on 1.50 Firmware.
* Your PSP battery is charged to at least 75%.
* The installation files:

* A USB cable, to connect your PSP to a PC.
*and remember "X" is the drive of your psp


Installation for 1.50
Installing 3.52 Custom Firmware on a 1.50 PSP:

* Copy the folders 'kxploitpatcher and kxploitpatcher%' to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME/' on your PSP's memory stick.
* Copy the folder 'M33CREATOR' to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME/' on your PSP's memory stick.
* Run the kxploitpatcher program.
* Download the official 3.52 update: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1209 Update and rename to 352.PBP.
* Copy the 352.PBP to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/' on your PSP's memory stick.
* Download the official 1.50 update: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1209 and rename to 150.PBP.
* Copy the 150.PBP to the directory; 'X:/PSP/GAME/M33CREATOR/' on your PSP's memory stick.
* Execute '3.52 M33 CREATOR' under GAME on your PSP.
* Then execute '3.52 M33UPDATE' under GAME on your PSP.
* Once finished, press X.
* Have fun on 3.52 Custom Firmware!

to install backup your files on your pc and then format your psp under setting then paste this into the root of your memory stick.And overwrite the files
